Mag-Hytec is based in Van Nuys, California. The name comes from the magnetic drain plug in each unit, which holds the fine wear metal a transmission or axle sheds so it stays out of the oil between services. The covers and pans are cast aluminum, powder-coated black, with machined cooling fins.
What we carry
The covers and pans hold more fluid than stock, shed heat through the fins, and catch wear metal on the magnetic plug. Each has a port for a temperature sender.
- Rear differential covers: AAM 11.5 for 2003+ Cummins and 2001+ Duramax, AAM 12.0 for 2019+ Cummins and 2020+ Duramax, Dana 80, Ford 10.25/10.5 for Powerstroke
- Front differential covers: Dana 60 for Cummins and Powerstroke, AAM 9.25 for 2003-2013 Cummins, Ford 14-300 for 2017+ 6.7L Powerstroke
- Deep transmission pans: 68RFE for 2007.5+ 6.7L Cummins, 727-D for 1989-2007 5.9L Cummins, 5R110 TorqShift for 2003-2007 6.0L Powerstroke
- Matching transmission filters, including E4OD/4R100 for 1994-2003 7.3L Powerstroke
