A custom calibration is software loaded into the truck's control modules. On the 2020-2022 6.7L Powerstroke there are two: the PCM for the engine and a separate TCM for the 10R140 10-speed. Ford's own 2023 High-Output engine shows how much calibration can change on this platform; Ford said its gain came primarily from a different PCM calibration, together with a unique turbo and upgraded exhaust manifolds. On a customer's truck, though, the line is the CARB Executive Order. Only calibrations carrying one for this exact engine and year qualify, and none was confirmed for 2020-2022 when we researched it.
Recall software comes first
Check whether your truck is part of Ford's Bosch CP4.2 fuel pump recall, 24S78 (NHTSA 24V957000), whose remedy updated PCM and TCM software, and the 26S17 re-repair (NHTSA 26V158000), which updated PCM software. That software has to be current. Aftermarket calibration can interfere with a dealer completing the recall, so have the recall status checked by VIN before anything else is loaded.
Rule out mechanical faults
Custom tuning gets bought for complaints that start somewhere else. Boost leaks, regen events, heat soak and sensor faults make the 6.7L lug, feel lazy or hunt shifts, and that gets blamed on the calibration or the transmission. Verify boost and airflow first.

Model year decides fitment on this page. The tune pack's title covers 2023-2025, the fifth-generation Super Duty, so a 2020-2022 owner should confirm coverage with the shop before ordering. The SOTF switch is titled for 2020-2022 and the DSP bracket for 2011-2022. Verify by VIN and confirm the EO number for your year before anything is installed.

Can a custom calibration interfere with the fuel pump recall?
Yes. The 24S78 remedy updated PCM and TCM software and the 26S17 re-repair updated PCM software. Aftermarket calibration can get in the way of the dealer completing that work, so get the recall closed out first.
Does the Calibrated Power tune pack cover my 2021 F-350?
Its title lists 2023-2025 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, and 2023 began a new generation that added a High-Output version of the engine. Don't assume it covers a 2021. Call the shop with your VIN and we'll tell you what applies.
