Call or Text (352) 722-5295Drop-in turbos for the 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins
A drop-in turbo bolts in where the factory turbo was, without a second turbo or a new manifold layout. The factory unit is the Holset HE300VG, mounted on the passenger side between cylinders 4 and 5. For 2019 Holset gave it taller turbine vanes, heavier-duty bearings, a forged-milled compressor wheel and laminated heat shields, rated to about 33 psi. Its variable-geometry vanes also make the exhaust brake, so whatever goes in its place has to be judged on how it brakes as well as how it makes boost.
When the factory turbo is done
If you are here because of a failing turbo, the likely culprit is sticking vanes. Soot and oil coking on the vane ring and pivots shows up as a weaker exhaust brake first, then low or erratic boost, black smoke, high EGTs and limp mode, commonly between 50,000 and 150,000 miles. Less often the bearings or oil seals go, with a siren whine, blue or gray smoke and shaft play, and that condemns the cartridge. Before you buy a whole turbo, keep in mind that a vane cleaning through the turbine housing access port can buy 12 to 24 months on a high-mileage unit.
Stock replacement vs. upgrade
If the truck tows, hauls or simply needs to be reliable again, the stock-replacement route is the simple one. A direct-fit HE300VG replacement keeps the exhaust brake and all emissions functions and needs no tuning. The performance turbos here are a different decision. Our research has not turned up a CARB Executive Order number for any larger-than-stock drop-in turbo on the 2019-2024 truck, so read each listing for what it requires to run and confirm it is legal for your truck and state before you buy.

Fitment notes
Check the year range on every listing. Most turbos here are listed for 2019-2024, but the Fleece Cheetah is listed for 2019-2022, so it is not a 2023 or 2024 part unless the listing says otherwise. Confirm your engine output too: Ram sales code ETM marks a high-output engine and ETL standard output, and high output was only offered in the 3500 pickup. Chassis cab trucks share the engine family but run their own calibration, so send us the VIN. And 2025-and-later trucks use a Gen II HE300VG, so nothing here crosses forward.
Frequently asked questions
Which turbo here is the stock replacement?
The BD Diesel 1045777 remanufactured stock replacement turbocharger, listed for 2019-2024. A direct-fit HE300VG replacement keeps the exhaust brake and emissions functions and runs on factory tuning; confirm the details on the listing before you order.
Will the Fleece Cheetah fit my 2023 Ram 3500?
Not by its listing. The FPE-351-1920 Cheetah is listed for 2019-2022 Cummins trucks. For a 2023 or 2024, pick a turbo listed through 2024, and confirm whether you have the high-output (ETM) or standard-output (ETL) engine.
