2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins ECM Tuning

Engine control module hardware for the 2019-2024 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins: a brand-new Mopar CM2450 ECM, a flash tool and a switch mount. The key point on this truck is that the calibration inside the module has to match the fuel pump on the engine, and on 2019-2020 trucks that pump changed under the Y78 recall.

The ECM on the 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins

2019-2020 trucks were built with a Bosch CP4.2 high-pressure pump. All of them were recalled under Y78 (NHTSA 21V-880) to have the CP4.2 replaced with a CP3 and the PCM reflashed, and 2021-2024 trucks came from the factory with the CP3. After the recall, a 2019-2020 truck runs a CP3 calibration, and any calibration product, including what goes into a replacement module, must match the installed pump. Output and transmission matter too. Standard-output trucks use the 68RFE, high-output 3500s use the Aisin AS69RC, and the two have different TCM strategies.

What we carry

  • A brand-new Mopar CM2450 Cummins ECM, listed for 2019-2021 trucks.

Fitment notes

The ECM listing stops at 2021, so check with us before ordering for a 2022-2024 truck. Whatever calibration goes in the module has to keep the truck's EGR, DOC, DPF and SCR systems working, and we have not confirmed a CARB EO calibration for this engine. Verify by VIN.

Frequently asked questions

Will the Mopar CM2450 ECM fit my 2023 Ram 3500?

It is listed for 2019-2021 trucks only. For a 2022-2024 truck, call the shop with your VIN and we will check what matches your engine and transmission.

My 2020 had the CP4 recall done. Does that matter for a replacement ECM?

Yes. After Y78 the truck runs a CP3 calibration, and anything loaded into a replacement module must match the installed pump. Match the output rating and transmission as well, since standard- and high-output trucks use different TCM strategies.
