The EFILive AutoCal V3 (Blank) is a handheld that lets your tuner deliver custom tunes to you anywhere and pull logged data back for analysis. It is listed for use with 2011-2021 6.7L Cummins in the Ram 2500/3500 and 2001-2016 6.6L Duramax trucks.
Fitment
Used with: 2011-2021 Cummins, 2001-2016 Duramax. In our catalog that means:
- 2011-2021 6.7L Cummins: Ram 2500 and Ram 3500
- 2001-2016 6.6L Duramax: LB7 (2001-2004), LLY (2004.5-2005), LBZ (2006-2007), LMM (2007.5-2010) and LML (2011-2016)
Earlier 6.7L Cummins trucks (2007.5-2010), 2022 and later Cummins trucks, and 2017 and later Duramax trucks fall outside the range EFILive lists. On 2019-2021 Cummins, the standard-output and High Output engines run different calibrations (Ram sales codes ETL and ETM; check the build sheet), and 2019-2020 trucks may carry either the original CP4.2 pump or a CP3 installed under recall. The tune has to match what is actually on the truck. Verify fitment by VIN or call us.
Why this part
AutoCal is EFILive's integrated delivery platform. A tuner integrates their FlashScan with AutoCal and has a custom handheld tuning device to sell to customers. It is more than a generic handheld: AutoCal puts EFILive's scan tool in the truck owner's hands, so you can collect logged data and send it back to your tuner for analysis.
From there the tuner can update and optimize the original tune or send new tunes via email. Because tunes travel by email, you and your tuner do not have to be in the same place, and a revision does not mean another trip to the tuner. That is what makes remote custom tuning practical.
