The 6.7L Cummins in these trucks runs a Bosch CP3 pump feeding solenoid common-rail injectors at up to 26,000 psi, and the engine is rated for B20 biodiesel blends. Additive claims worth paying for on this engine stay in four lanes: lubricity, water control, cold-weather protection and cetane. Water is mostly handled by hardware, not chemistry. The engine filter housing integrates the water separator, the drain valve and the water-in-fuel sensor, and the filters are due every 15,000 miles or 12 months. An additive works alongside that maintenance, not in place of it.
What an additive can and can't do
No additive is tied to a specific fuel-system fix on this generation. The maintenance concern that does come up on the 6.7L is fuel dilution of the engine oil from regen post-injection, and that's not a fuel-quality problem, so a bottle in the tank isn't the answer to it. Fitment notes
Additives aren't tied to a model year, so everything here works in any 2010-2018 Ram 2500 or 3500 6.7L, pickup or Cab & Chassis. Follow the treat rate on the bottle. Stay at B20 or below if you run biodiesel. If you're chasing water in the fuel, start with the hardware: drain the separator, change the filters, and on 2013-2018 trucks check the chassis filter base for corrosion, which can keep a new filter from sealing. A bottle won't fix a filter that isn't sealing.

Can I run biodiesel in my 2010-2018 Ram 6.7L?
Yes, up to B20. The 6.7L is rated as B20 compatible. Above that blend you're outside the rating, so check what the pump is selling before you fill.
Will a fuel additive fix oil dilution?
No. Fuel dilution of the oil on this engine comes from regen post-injection, not from fuel quality, so a fuel treatment isn't the answer. Buy additives for lubricity, water control, cold weather or cetane, and keep up with your oil changes.
Do I need an anti-gel in Florida?
