2018-2021 Ford F-150 3.0L Powerstroke Monitor Accessories

Monitor accessories for the 2018-2021 Ford F-150 3.0L Power Stroke: Edge EAS add-on sensors that put an extra reading on your Edge display. The key thing to know is that these extend a monitor; they don't replace one. Confirm that your Edge display accepts EAS accessories before you order a sensor for it.

Monitor accessories for the 2018-2021 F-150 3.0L

From the factory, the diesel F-150's cluster gives you DEF level and regen status. There's no boost gauge and no EGT readout. A plug-in OBD-II monitor fills most of that gap by reading the truck's CAN-bus data. The accessories on this page go one step further: they are physical sensors you install on the truck and connect to an Edge display, so you get a dedicated reading of your own on top of what the diagnostic port reports.

Why owners add sensors

The 3.0L is a single-turbo V6 that Ford rated to tow 11,400 lb at its 2018 launch, and an owner who uses that rating wants to see exhaust temperature and pressure while the truck works. There's no failure pattern behind this category. It's about information: a dedicated EGT reading on a long pull with a trailer, or a pressure reading from a 0-100 PSI sensor. The product page shows what each kit includes and how it's meant to be installed.

What we carry

These accessories are from Edge Products:

  • Edge 98620 EAS EGT Kit, Daily Driver/Tow Kit. Adds an exhaust gas temperature reading to an EAS-ready Edge display.
  • Edge 98607 EAS Pressure Sensor (0-100 PSI). Adds a pressure channel to the same kind of display.

The display itself, Edge's Insight CTS3, is under Monitors in this menu. Other parts for this engine are on the Power Stroke hub.

Fitment notes

The 3.0L Power Stroke was only ever an F-150 engine, 2018 through 2021. These sensors are Edge parts, so check the product page to confirm your Edge display takes EAS accessories and to see what each kit includes. If you'd rather not install a probe or run sensor wiring yourself, we do it in our Wildwood, FL shop.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Edge Daily Driver/Tow EGT kit for?

It adds an exhaust gas temperature reading to an EAS-compatible Edge display. The 3.0L's factory cluster has no EGT readout, so owners who tow use a kit like this to keep exhaust temperature in view on long pulls.

Will Edge EAS sensors work with another brand's monitor?

They're part of Edge's EAS accessory line and are meant for Edge displays that accept EAS sensors. Check the product page for the displays each sensor supports before you order.

Does adding a sensor change anything about how the engine runs?

No. A sensor reports a number to your display. Engine programming stays stock, and the emissions equipment stays as Ford built it.

Can you install the EGT kit for me?

Yes. We install everything we sell at our shop in Wildwood, FL. Call the number in the header to set it up.
