The Edge Products 98607 EAS Pressure Sensor reads 0-100 PSI and plugs into Edge's EAS Universal Sensor Input system (p/n 98605). Hooked to a CTS2 or CTS3 monitor, it lets you watch a pressure your monitor can't pull from the OBD-II port, such as boost, lift pump pressure or air bag pressure.
Fitment
The 98607 is not tied to a truck year or engine. It works through Edge's EAS accessory system and is listed as compatible with the CTS2 and CTS3 monitors. To connect it to your monitor you need the EAS Universal Sensor Input Kit (P/N 98605), which is not included. It is a 1/8 NPT sensor, so the spot you want to measure needs a 1/8 NPT port. If you are not sure your monitor and truck are set up for it, call us before you order.
Why this part
Your monitor can only show what the truck reports through the OBD-II port. EAS sensors fill in the rest. The 98607 comes equipped with the proper wires and connectors to plug right into the Universal Sensor Input system, so you skip cutting, splicing and crimping wire terminals. That saves time and money on the install. Edge lists it for monitoring data such as Boost PSI, Fuel Rail Pressure, Air Bag Pressure, Lift Pump Pressure, Pre and Post Intercooler Pressure, and more. The sensor is rated 0 - 100 PSIg, so pick a point whose pressure stays inside that range.
