The Mag-Hytec AA 14-11.5 CS is a finned aluminum rear differential cover for the AAM 11.5 rear axle on 2014-2018 Ram 2500 pickups with the 6.7L Cummins. It holds 8 quarts and adds a magnetic drain plug, a dipstick and a 1/8" sender port. Owners buy it so routine gear oil service no longer means pulling the cover.

Why this part
This cover makes fluid changes on the rear axle easy. Drain through the built-in magnetic drain plug and check the level with the oil dipstick, so routine lube maintenance happens without removing the cover. The magnet holds the fine wear metal the gears shed so it stays out of the oil between services.
The housing is built from aircraft grade aluminum with fins on the outside, and it holds 8 quarts. An O-ring gasket gives a leak-free seal with no sealant required. The pre-drilled and tapped 1/8" sender port is ready for a temperature sender if you want a gauge on rear diff temperature.
