Call or Text (352) 722-5295Cooling system parts on the 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins
The 2019 redesign of the 6.7L Cummins increased cooling capacity and moved the water pump into an aluminum housing in place of cast iron. Factory upper and lower radiator hoses for 2019-2021 trucks are Mopar 68359598 and 68359638, which is handy for cross-checking a replacement. The factory thermostat crosses to Stant 14289 on 2013-2021 engines, sealed with Mopar gasket 5086740AA. Coolant also runs through the heater circuit to the cabin heater core and through the liquid-cooled EGR cooler, so this collection includes heater hoses and fittings along with the main radiator parts.
When these parts get replaced
Most of what is here gets replaced when it leaks, when a code or gauge points at a sensor, or while the system is already drained for other work. If you are draining 23.8 quarts for an EGR cooler repair or a scheduled flush, that is the best time to replace hoses, the thermostat or a housing, because the coolant is already out. If cabin heat acts up, check the heater circuit too. One 2021 owner reported lost heat on the driver side of the cabin traced to a failed cooling-system gasket. That is a single report, not a pattern, but it is a reminder to look past the heater core itself.
Stock replacement vs. upgrade
Direct-replacement parts here include a Genuine Cummins thermostat, an Alliant Power oil/fuel/coolant temperature sensor, an XDP engine coolant temperature sensor and a CSF A/C condenser. Upgrade parts change the material or the design: Mishimoto silicone radiator hoses and a top heater hose upgrade, the WCFab thermostat housing, upper coolant pipes and billet aluminum tank cap, and a PPE stainless heater hose connector. Replace like for like on a work truck that just needs to run. Choose an upgrade part when you are already doing the labor and want a part built differently from the original.
What we carry
- Thermostat and housing: Genuine Cummins thermostat and the WCFab thermostat housing for 2019-2024.

- Heater circuit: Fleece Performance Engineering heater feed and return hose kit, lower heater return hose and heater core replacement hose and fitting; the S&B heater core supply hose; the Mishimoto top heater hose upgrade; the PPE heater hose connector.
- Sensors: Alliant Power oil/fuel/coolant temperature sensor and XDP ECT sensor.
- Service and related parts: Fleece coolant bypass service kit, WCFab billet coolant tank cap and the CSF A/C condenser for 2019-2024.
Fitment notes
Read the year range in every title. Radiator hoses, the thermostat housing and anything tied to the water pump are 2019-specific. Heater hoses and sensors often span generations: the S&B supply hose and Fleece heater core hose are listed for 2003-2024, while the XDP coolant temperature sensor is listed through 2021 only. The WCFab upper coolant pipe comes in standard-output and high-output versions. High output was offered only on the 3500 pickup with the Aisin AS69RC transmission; every 2500, and any 3500 with the 68RFE, is standard output. If anything is unclear, verify by VIN.
Frequently asked questions
Do 2013-2018 radiator hoses fit a 2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins?
No. Ram changed the radiator hoses, water pump and thermostat housing for 2019. Factory hoses on 2019-2021 trucks are Mopar 68359598 upper and 68359638 lower, and the Mishimoto silicone hose kit here is listed for 2019-2024.
Which WCFab upper coolant pipe do I need?
Match it to your engine. WCFab makes one pipe for standard-output engines and one for high-output engines. High output came only in 3500 pickups with the Aisin AS69RC; all 2500s and 68RFE-equipped 3500s are standard output.
What thermostat does the 2019-2024 6.7L Cummins use?
The factory thermostat crosses to Stant 14289 on 2013-2021 engines, with Mopar gasket 5086740AA, and it opens at 200 F. We carry a Genuine Cummins thermostat listed for 2007.5-2026 6.7L engines; it is a 190-degree unit, so check the rating before you order. Plan on a new gasket whenever the housing comes off.
Will the XDP coolant temperature sensor fit my 2023?
It is listed for 1998.5-2021 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins trucks, so its listing does not cover 2022-2024. The Alliant Power oil/fuel/coolant temperature sensor is listed through 2024. Use the fitment checker on the product page, or call, before ordering for a newer truck.
