High-pressure injection lines and line fittings for the 2018-2023 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel, from Dynomite Diesel Products and Exergy Performance. These are universal-style parts sized by thread and length, not factory-stamped replacements for this truck. Measure what you have before you order, and if your CP4.2 pump has failed, find out what the recall replaced first.

Fuel lines on the 2018-2023 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel

This is a Bosch common-rail engine. The in-tank pump and filter feed the CP4.2 high-pressure pump, and the high-pressure side carries fuel on to the rails and injectors at 29,000 psi on both the 2018-2019 Gen 2 and the 2020-2023 Gen 3 engine. Lines and fittings on that side live at full rail pressure, so thread size, seating and cleanliness all matter whenever anything is opened up.

What goes wrong

The documented problem on this platform is the pump, not the lines. The CP4.2 can fail internally and send metal debris through the rails, injectors and lines, causing fuel starvation and stalls. The recall remedy (22V406 for 2018-2019 trucks, 22V767 and 23V263 for 2020-2023) is a new pump plus inspection or replacement of the other fuel-system parts. We don't have a documented pattern of lines failing on their own on this engine, so we won't invent one.

Stock vs. aftermarket

If debris went through your system, the recall is where replacement starts, and that work happens by VIN at a dealer. The parts on this page fit a different job: custom or modified high-pressure plumbing. The Dynomite lines are oversized and universal, sold in multiple lengths. The Exergy fittings let you tee a line, cap an M14 port, or adapt an M12 supply port to -6AN or -8AN line. The Exergy AN supply fittings are named for the CP3 pump. Every EcoDiesel in this range uses a CP4.2, and no factory-supported pump conversion is documented for this engine, so talk to us before you buy them for this truck.

Fitment notes

None of these parts carry a Ram 1500 EcoDiesel fitment in the title, so match by thread size and length. Measure the line run and confirm the port thread before you order. Injector nozzles changed for 2020, so anything that ties into the injectors should be checked by part number for your generation. The 2018 Ram 1500 and 2019 Ram 1500 Classic are Gen 2; 2020-2023 trucks are Gen 3. We install what we sell, so if you would rather we plumb it, bring it to the shop in Wildwood, FL.

Frequently asked questions

Are the Dynomite lines a direct replacement for my factory injection lines?

They are listed as universal oversized lines in multiple lengths, not as a bolt-in set for this truck. That makes them a fit for custom work, not a stock swap. Call us with what you are building and we'll tell you if they make sense.

Will the Exergy CP3 supply fittings work on an EcoDiesel?

They are named for the CP3 pump, and the EcoDiesel uses a Bosch CP4.2 on every year from 2018 to 2023. No factory-supported CP3 conversion is documented for this engine. Don't order them for this truck without talking to us first.

My pump failed. Do I need new lines too?

Start with the recall. The remedy is a new pump plus inspection or replacement of the other fuel-system parts the debris reached. Ask the dealer what was replaced on your truck before you buy anything here.
