2020-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Leveling Kits

Leveling kits for the 2020-2022 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 with the 6.7L Powerstroke, from 1 inch to 2.5 inches of front lift, plus the caster parts that go with them. The key thing to know: most of these kits are built for 4x4 trucks with the solid front axle and the factory 3-inch rear block, so a 2WD truck needs a different plan.

Leveling kits on the 2020-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

A 4x4 Super Duty front end is a solid Dana Super 60 axle on coil springs, located by radius arms and a track bar. In the rear, 4x4 trucks ride on leaf springs with a 3-inch block from the factory. A leveling kit raises the front so it sits closer to the rear without touching the leaf pack. Kits for these trucks are sold against that factory 3-inch block, so if the rear has been changed, the math changes with it.

2WD trucks are a different story. They use Ford's Twin I-Beam front, and the Daystar, Bilstein and BDS kits on this page are listed for 4WD only.

What to plan for

Leveling isn't a repair, but it has side effects worth planning for. Raising the front of a 4x4 pulls the axle off center and changes caster. Skip the correction and expect steering pull, shimmy or an axle that sits visibly to one side. That's why SPE Motorsport's fixed caster kit sits in this collection next to the kits. Don't assume you need a track bar relocation bracket either: with some kits, certain 2020-and-later trucks keep the factory bracket.

How much to level

There's no factory leveling kit to replace, so the choice is how much and how. A 1-inch kit is the mildest change. A 2.5-inch kit brings the front up further and is where caster correction belongs on your list. The kits also differ in how they get there: the BDS kit uses performance springs, while Daystar's Comfort Ride kits, SPE Motorsport's Stage-1 and Stage-2 kits and Bilstein's B8 5112 and B8 5162 Series kits each take their own approach, which the product pages spell out.

On a Tremor, slow down. The Tremor already has a 2-inch front lift from the factory, so a kit measured from stock ride height won't add its full number on that truck.

Fitment notes

The Daystar, Bilstein and BDS kits here are listed for 4WD trucks, and the SPE Motorsport listings don't state a drivetrain, so confirm yours before you order. Many are listed for a wider span than 2020-2022 on the 6.7L Powerstroke, so go by the years in each listing. If your rear blocks have been swapped, a kit sold against the factory 3-inch block won't sit the way the listing describes. Some caster bushings don't fit 10-lug trucks. Verify by VIN or call us.

Frequently asked questions

Can I level a 2WD F-250 with one of these?

No. 2WD Super Duty trucks use Twin I-Beam independent front suspension, and the Daystar, Bilstein and BDS kits here are built for the 4x4 coil-sprung solid axle. 2WD trucks have few bolt-on options. Call us and we'll tell you what's realistic for your truck.

Do I need a caster kit with a 2.5-inch level?

Plan on it. Raising a 4x4 Super Duty changes caster and can pull the axle off center, which shows up as steering pull or shimmy. SPE Motorsport's S300106 fixed caster kit is listed here for that reason. If you have a 10-lug truck, confirm the caster parts fit before you order.

Is leveling worth it on a Tremor?

Look closely first. A Tremor already sits 2 inches higher in front from the factory, so a kit measured from stock ride height won't give its full number on that truck. Its springs are also unique to the package. Call with your VIN before you order.
