2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Leveling Kits

Leveling kits for the 2017-2019 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty with the 6.7L Powerstroke raise the front of the truck to bring it closer to level with the rear. Most are listed for 4WD trucks, where the front rides on coil springs over a solid axle. Know your drivetrain and your front spring package before you pick a height.

Leveling the 2017-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke

On a 4x4 F-250 or F-350, and on every F-450, the front of the truck sits on coil springs over a solid monobeam axle, located by radius arms and a track bar. That coil is where most leveling happens. The springs themselves vary by build: the Camper, Snow Plow and Heavy-Service Front Suspension packages fit upgraded front springs from the factory. Stock ground clearance runs about 8.2 to 8.8 inches depending on model, and a single-rear-wheel F-250 or F-350 already stands roughly 78 to 82 inches tall, so measure your garage door before adding height. Parts for every other system on these trucks start at our Powerstroke page.

Spacer, spring or kit

A coil spacer keeps the factory spring and adds height above it. BDS Suspension sells 1-inch and 2-inch coil spacers made for 2017-2019 4WD trucks. A replacement spring swaps out the factory coil entirely, and BDS offers a 1-2 inch leveling performance spring for that route. Because diesel trucks run different front spring rates than gas trucks, BDS builds its parts for this generation diesel-specific. Complete kits are the third option, from Daystar, Bilstein and SPE. For a little rear height to go with the front, SPE's 1-inch rear block kit is listed for 2011-2019 trucks.

What we carry

BDS Suspension supplies 1-inch and 2-inch coil spacers and a 1-2 inch performance spring. Daystar Products offers Comfort Ride kits in a 1-inch height and a 2.5-inch front height for 4WD trucks. Bilstein has B8 5112 and B8 5162 series leveling kits. SPE Motorsport rounds it out with a Stage-2 2.5-inch lift suspension kit, the 1-inch rear block kit and a fixed caster kit.

Fitment notes

Drivetrain comes first. Nearly every kit here is listed for 4WD, and a 4x2 F-250 or F-350 has Twin-I-Beam independent front suspension, which is a different design. Next, years: the BDS coil spacers are listed for 2017-2019, while other kits here cover wider ranges, so read each title. Plan an alignment after any height change. Owners chasing front-end shake on these trucks list alignment among the fixes, and the track bar, radius arms, ball joints and tie-rod ends are the wear items behind that shake, so sort out worn front-end parts before you level a truck that already wobbles.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use a spacer or a new spring to level my truck?

A spacer keeps your factory spring and adds height above it, while a replacement spring swaps the coil out. If your truck came with a Snow Plow, Camper or Heavy-Service Front Suspension package, it already has upgraded front springs, so factor that in. Either way, buy a part listed for the diesel truck, not the gas version.

Do I need a caster kit after leveling?

It depends on the alignment numbers. Get the truck aligned after the install and look at the caster reading. If the shop can't bring it where it should be, SPE Motorsport's fixed caster kit, listed for 2005-2024 Super Duty trucks, is built for that correction. Owners also list caster and alignment among the fixes for front-end shake on this generation.

Will these kits level a 2WD truck?

Most kits here are listed for 4WD trucks. A 4x2 F-250 or F-350 uses a Twin-I-Beam front with its own geometry, so a 4WD spacer or spring does not apply. Call with your VIN and we'll check what fits.
