Call or Text (352) 722-5295The ECM on the 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
Ford's own history shows how much rides on calibration. A free PCM reflash moved early 2011 trucks from 390 hp to 400 hp and 800 lb-ft, and the 2015-2016 calibration rates the engine at 440 hp at 2,800 rpm and 860 lb-ft at 1,600 rpm. The calibration also has to work with the factory aftertreatment on these trucks: cooled EGR, a diesel oxidation catalyst, a diesel particulate filter and SCR with diesel exhaust fluid. A custom calibration must leave all of it in place and working, and it needs its own CARB Executive Order number.
What we carry
The Calibrated Power Solutions DSP switch bracket, a no-drill mount listed for 2011-2022 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, gives a tune selector switch a fixed mount. It is hardware for a calibration that uses a switch and doesn't change the ECM by itself. Browse the full tuners category for more.
Fitment notes
Calibrations are year-specific on this engine: 2015-2016 differs from 2011-2014 and 2017-2019, and the 300 hp chassis-cab engine is its own calibration. The bracket covers a wider span, 2011-2022, so the listing range is about the mount, not the tune. Ford issued PCM campaigns on these years, including 15V175 for a false over-temperature shutdown, so confirm recall software is current first. Verify by VIN before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Can I run a custom ECM calibration on my 2015 F-350 and stay legal?
Only if the calibration keeps EGR, the DOC, the DPF and SCR in place and working and carries its own CARB EO number. In EO states, the decal is requested from the manufacturer for inspection. Ask for the EO number for your exact year before anything is loaded.
Will the DSP bracket fit my 2016 F-250?
It is listed for 2011-2022 6.7L Powerstroke trucks, which takes in the 2015-2016 pickups. Check the product page or use the fitment checker for your exact truck. The bracket mounts a switch; it doesn't touch the calibration.
Why does my model year matter for an ECM tune?
Because the factory calibration changed. 2015 brought a new GT3788V turbo, new injector nozzles and a 440 hp / 860 lb-ft rating, so 2015-2016 calibrations differ from 2011-2014 and 2017-2019. Chassis cab trucks are different again.
