Call or Text (352) 722-5295Leveling the 2015-2016 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
On a 4x4 Super Duty the front axle hangs on coil springs and is located by radius arms and a track bar, with 1.38-inch gas shocks at each corner. That front geometry has been shared since 2005, which is why so many leveling kits for these 6.7L Powerstroke trucks are catalogued 2005-2016. The simplest kit is a coil spacer that works with the factory spring; BDS Suspension sells a 2-inch spacer for 2005-2016 diesel trucks. Fuller packages bundle the lift with caster correction and an adjustable track bar, so the front end is set up for the new height instead of just raised.
Check the front end first
Leveling does not fix worn parts. The aftermarket targets ball joint, track bar, tie rod and steering damper wear on 2005-2016 coil-sprung Super Dutys, and a 2016 F-250 owner reported 'death wobble' to NHTSA, a violent shake at highway speed after a bump. It is a single complaint, but it involves the same group of parts. Have them checked, sort out anything loose, then level the truck.
Stock height vs. leveled
If your truck tows heavy and you like the way it drives, factory height is a fine place to stay. Level it when you want the truck to sit even front to rear. If your truck came with the Heavy-Service Front Suspension Package or the Camper Package, it already has upgraded front springs; tell us when you call so we can check the kit against them. Diesel and gas Super Dutys take different front coils, and diesel-specific kits are marked as not fitting gas trucks, so stick with the diesel version.

Fitment notes
Confirm 4x4 versus 4x2 before anything else; the two front ends share nothing. Leveling geometry is shared from 2005 through 2016, but shocks and some steering parts are more year-specific, so check every piece if you mix brands. 2017 brought a new aluminum-body truck on a new frame, so do not assume a kit carries across that line unless the listing says so. The SPE rear block kit is listed for 2011-2019. Verify by VIN.
Frequently asked questions
Will a 2005-2016 leveling kit fit my 2015 F-350?
If it is a 4x4 diesel, generally yes. The front geometry on these trucks is shared from 2005 through 2016, which is why the kits are catalogued that way. Shocks and some steering parts are more year-specific, so if the kit includes them, check those years too.
Can I put a diesel leveling kit on a gas F-250?
No. Diesel and gas Super Dutys take different front coil springs, and the diesel-specific kits are marked as not fitting gasoline trucks. Everything on this page is aimed at the 6.7L Powerstroke trucks.
Do I need a caster kit or adjustable track bar with a leveling kit?
The fuller leveling packages for these trucks bundle caster correction and an adjustable track bar with the lift. SPE Motorsport's fixed caster kit is on this page, and adjustable track bars from BD Diesel are in our suspension components. Ask us which combination suits the height you are after.
Is there a leveling kit for a 4x2 truck here?
The Daystar, Bilstein and BDS kits here are listed for 4WD trucks. A 4x2 Super Duty uses Twin-I-Beam front suspension, which shares nothing with the 4x4 solid axle, so a 4x4 kit will not bolt on. Call us with your VIN and we will tell you what applies.
