From the factory, 2011-2014 Powerstroke pickups breathe through a Garrett GT32 SST DualBoost turbo: a single-sequential variable-geometry unit with a double-sided compressor wheel on one shaft, mounted in the engine valley between the reverse-flow heads. Charge air leaves the turbo, passes through an air-to-water intercooler cooled by the low-temperature coolant loop, and enters the intake manifold. Stock output is 400 hp and 800 lb-ft after Ford's early 2011 recalibration. A high flow kit replaces part of that path, from the piping to the manifold to the turbo itself.
What to check before you buy
No failure pattern is tied to these kits themselves, but three things on this platform affect what you buy. First, hot-side routing on 2011-2014 trucks is built around the GT32's twin inlet, which is different from the larger single-compressor GT37 Ford used from 2015. If the turbo on your truck has already been changed, confirm what's on it before you order piping. Second, 2011-2016 chassis cab F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks use a Garrett AVNT3276V turbo and a 300 hp / 660 lb-ft calibration instead of the pickup setup, so verify pickup or chassis cab before ordering turbo parts. Third, if you pull the factory charge pipes and find them coated in oil, look at the CCV oil separator before you blame the turbo. A clogged separator raises crankcase pressure and loads the intercooler and charge pipes with oil, and it has been linked to turbo oil-seal failure. Diesel Hub recommends replacing it every 30,000 to 40,000 miles.
Stock replacement vs. upgrade
Intake piping and an intake manifold work with the factory turbo and are the simpler jobs: they swap stock air-path parts for aftermarket pieces and leave the rest of the engine as Ford built it. The S400 Emperor Turbo System is a different scale of project, replacing the factory GT32 SST setup with an S400-based system. Before you install a turbo system on a road-registered truck, check the product page for a CARB Executive Order number and confirm the part is legal for street use where you live.
What we carry
This page carries SPE Motorsport air-path parts: an intake piping kit listed for 2011-2026 6.7L trucks, the S100397 OE+ Performance Intake Manifold Kit listed for 2011-2025, and the S400 Emperor Turbo System listed for 2011-2019. For more air-path parts, browse our intakes and turbos pages.
Fitment notes
These kits carry long year ranges, but the 2011-2014 pickup has its own turbo, so the hot side is where fitment matters most. A truck that left the factory as a 2011-2014 pickup with the GT32 SST takes parts built for that turbo; a chassis cab does not share it. Use the fitment checker on each product page or verify by VIN, and if the truck had engine-bay work done before you owned it, look under the hood before you order.
Frequently asked questions
What does high flow kit mean on a 6.7L Powerstroke?
On this platform it refers to the air path, meaning intake piping, the intake manifold and turbo systems. The parts on this page come from SPE Motorsport and are listed for the 2011-2014 pickup.
Will 2015-up hot-side piping fit my 2013 F-250?
Don't count on it. The 2011-2014 hot side is built around the GT32 SST's twin inlet, while 2015-up trucks use the larger single-compressor GT37. Buy parts listed for 2011-2014, or confirm which turbo is on the truck if it has been changed.
Do these parts fit a chassis cab F-450 or F-550?
Check carefully. 2011-2016 chassis cabs use a Garrett AVNT3276V turbo and a 300 hp / 660 lb-ft calibration instead of the pickup's GT32 SST. Turbo and hot-side parts built for the pickup may not apply, so verify by VIN or call us.
My charge pipes are full of oil. Is the turbo bad?
Not necessarily. A clogged CCV oil separator raises crankcase pressure and loads the intercooler and charge pipes with oil. Diesel Hub recommends replacing it every 30,000 to 40,000 miles, so check it before you replace pipes or the turbo.
