The SPE Motorsport intake piping kit replaces the restrictive factory plastic upper intake and cast aluminum lower intake on 2011-2026 Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Powerstroke. You get polished aluminum piping, a cast aluminum Y manifold with a true 3” internal diameter and a 3.5” cold side pipe, built to hold boost where factory plastic can crack.
Fitment
Fits 2011-2026 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Powerstroke, across both the 2011-2016 and the 2017-and-newer engines. SPE built the kit for all forms of turbo application on these years, and it fits most turbo setups, including VGT and non-VGT. Clearances can vary depending on how some aftermarket turbo kits are made. Some factory CCVs may not fit with this kit and will require an additional component to connect. The rotomolded lower intake adapter comes in multiple options based on turbo style and truck, so choose the option that matches your setup. Verify fitment by VIN or call us if you are not sure.
Why this part
The factory charge piping is the weak spot on the 6.7L air side. The stock plastic intercooler pipe can crack or rupture under high boost on 2015-2022 trucks. On 2017-2019 trucks the plastic cold-side pipe can break and leave the truck stranded, and the 2017-2026 factory cold-side tube is rubber and can burst under pressure. Boost leaks at couplers and cracked pipes show up on every 6.7L year as hissing under boost, low power, elevated EGTs and P0299 underboost codes, and they are more likely on trucks that tow or run a tune.
SPE's answer is aluminum and silicone. The cast Y manifold has a true 3” internal diameter, which SPE says sets it apart from the rest of the kits on the market. It has cast-in injectable bosses and uses factory style o-ring gaskets, so installation and later replacement are easy. The cold side pipe is 3.5” diameter where most competitors' kits use 3”, which helps flow and gives the engine bay a bolder look. SPE also welds on a billet IAT bung so the factory sensor is installed and used as the manufacturer intended; in SPE's experience it is an integral part of collecting data and of PCM functionality. If you already have a cold air intake, you keep it: a rotomolded adapter cleanly connects stock and aftermarket cold air kits to your turbo. The kit is also a good match for the SPE Emperor Turbo System. You can find supporting parts in our Powerstroke collection.

Installation notes
*Clearances can vary depending on how some turbo kits are made. Some factory CCVs may not fit with this kit and will require an additional component to connect, so check your CCV setup before install day. If you change turbochargers later, you only need to buy the appropriate Lower Air Intake Adapter for the new turbo; the rest of the kit stays on the truck. SPE recommends its SPE Hot Side Pipe to complement this kit. SPE also offers a custom powder coating service for intake manifolds and cold side pipes in popular Ford color matches. These are a 2-4 week lead time.
About SPE Motorsport
SPE Motorsport is the short name for Snyder Performance Engineering, a Latrobe, Pennsylvania company that started in 2011. Frequently asked questions
Can I keep my cold air intake?
Yes. SPE includes a rotomolded adapter that connects stock and aftermarket cold air intakes to your turbo, with adapter options based on turbo style and truck.
What if I change turbos later?
Keep the piping kit and buy the Lower Air Intake Adapter that fits the new turbo. The kit fits most turbo setups, including VGT and non-VGT, though clearances can vary with some turbo kits.
Does it keep the factory IAT sensor?
Yes. The cold side pipe has a welded-on billet IAT bung, so the factory CAC IAT sensor stays in use and keeps feeding the PCM.
