Why this part
As couplers, pipes and hoses heat cycle in the engine bay, they expand and contract. Silicone and rubber hose also deform and can take a compression set. Turbosmart's Constant Tension clamps are built to compensate for both. The outer Spring Action Band keeps force and load consistent, so the hose can expand and contract through heat cycles while the clamp holds tension. The dual bead inner shell concentrates sealing force, and the flanged edges protect soft hose compounds. Less stress and distress on the hose means a longer service life.
