The SPE Motorsport S200111 Emissions Harness Plug seals the emissions connection cavity on the ECU of 2011-2019 Ford Super Duty trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke. It is a b-nitrile plug that protects the unplugged connector from water, fuel and coolant while the DPF is off the truck for cleaning or service, so corrosion does not turn into codes and electrical issues later.
Fitment
The S200111 is the 2011-2019 plug. It fits Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 trucks with the 6.7L Power Stroke, including cab and chassis models, across the first-generation engine (2011-2016) and the 2017-2019 trucks. Our Engine: tags run to current model years, but the title and SPE's compatibility list stop at 2019, so 2011-2019 is the range. If you have a 2020-2022 truck, you want SPE's S200112 instead. Why this part
SPE built this plug around one problem: emissions harness connections that are exposed to the elements corrode. When the emission harness sensor plugs under the truck sit in water, fuel, coolant and whatever else is around them, corrosion can set in. Once it does, the harness can corrupt the information the ECU monitors, and that shows up as codes, check engine lights and electrical issues.
The ECU end of that harness needs the same protection. When the DPF is off the truck for cleaning or service, the connector stays unplugged until the job is done. This plug seats in the ECU cavity and creates a seal, keeping moisture and fluids off the ECU pins in the meantime. It is a simple part that can prevent expensive repairs.
