Why this part

Ford built the 2017-2025 cold side coupler hose from rubber with a single polyester reinforcement. Higher boost, higher temperatures and time break that rubber down until it rips and tears. A torn boot leaks boost pressure, which costs engine power and performance, and often the truck is inoperable until it is repaired.

SPE builds this hose from 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone that withstands higher temperatures and higher pressures. It is designed to outlast and outperform the factory hose for better reliability and durability.
