The SPE Motorsport S100118 compressor outlet adapter converts the turbo outlet on a 2011-2019 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke to a 3" hose coupler without adding any length to the turbo. Owners buy it to build their own turbo piping and to trade the thin factory ribbon seal for a heavy duty o-ring.
Fitment
This adapter is made for the 6.7L Powerstroke, and its title covers 2011-2019 Ford Super Duty trucks. That is the first-generation 6.7L (2011-2016) plus the 2017-2019 trucks of the second generation. The engine tags on this listing run to the current model year, but the part is titled for 2011-2019, so verify fitment by VIN or call us before you order for a 2020-or-newer truck. Ford also used a different Garrett turbo on 2011-2016 F-350, F-450 and F-550 chassis cabs than on the pickups, so chassis-cab owners should confirm fit with us first.
Why this part
The factory turbo outlet seals with a thin ribbon seal. SPE says that seal can be very problematic and can contribute to boost leaks. This adapter uses a heavy duty o-ring rather than the thin factory ribbon seal.
It also gives you a standard connection to build from. The adapter converts the turbo outlet to a 3-inch hose coupler without adding any length to the turbo, which makes it a good addition if you want to fabricate your own turbo piping kit. It is made of billet aluminum with a black anodized coating.
