The S&B 83-2012 Turbo To Intake Boot Kit replaces a ripped or torn intake boot on 1994-1997 Ford F-250/F-350 trucks with the 7.3L Power Stroke. The boot is silicone rubber with four layers of aramid reinforcement, and two stainless steel hose clamps come in the kit. You buy it to fix a failed boot once and not buy another.
Fitment
Fits 1994-1997 Ford F-250/F-350 trucks with the 7.3L Power Stroke, the OBS (old body style) trucks. It is a direct-fit replacement for the factory boot between the turbo and the intake on those trucks. This kit is listed for the 1994-1997 OBS 7.3L only; the 1999-2003 7.3L Super Duty is not on the list. Verify fitment by VIN or call us if you are not sure which truck you have.

The kit includes new hardware on purpose. Instead of reusing the old OEM clamps, you install two new stainless steel hose clamps that keep the boot in place. If you have the intake apart on an OBS 7.3L for any reason, it is a good time to look at the boot, and if it is ripped or torn, replace it while you are in there.
