For reliable and powerful cooling, Mishimoto used a tube-and-fin design which delivers 116% greater core volume, 141% increased fluid capacity, and 134% greater fin surface area than the stock transmission cooler. Mishimoto addresses the problematic rust-prone quick-disconnect fittings that the factory cooler uses and includes CNC machined stainless steel hose barb fittings along with the necessary hose to connect into the stock soft-line making this a direct-fit installation.
