Mishimoto constructs their intercooler with a bar-and-plate core then precision TIG welds the cast aluminum end tanks on for a much more reliable and robust design versus the factory stamped and stacked plate design. Besides being a superior design, the cast end tanks reduce potential failure points while the included aluminum intercooler pipes and couplers further add to the durability of this complete kit.
The Mishimoto Air-To-Water Intercooler Kit not only increases airflow and durability, it also adds more power! That 22% more airflow made during bench testing directly translates to a dyno proven 40 lb-ft of torque more!
