The MBRP M91031 is a universal 4" muffler with a T409 stainless steel body. It has a 4" inlet and outlet, a 24" body and a 30" overall length, so it suits trucks running 4" exhaust tubing. Owners buy it to add or replace a muffler in a 4" system with a stainless part that holds up where road salt or brine is used.
Fitment
This is a universal muffler. It is not built for one make, model or year, so there is no year range to match. What matters is pipe size and space. The M91031 has a 4" inlet and a 4" outlet, so it lines up with 4" exhaust tubing. The body is 24" long and the whole muffler is 30" end to end, so measure the straight run where it will hang before you order. If your truck runs 5" exhaust, this is the wrong size; we also carry a 5" version of this T409 muffler. Not sure what you have? Verify by VIN or call us and we will help you confirm the size.
Why this part

MBRP builds its Armor Plus systems from the same T409 grade, and its stainless tiers are the ones that hold up where road salt or brine is used. Aluminized steel suits dry climates, but if your roads get treated in winter, stainless is the better choice.

Will this muffler fit my truck?
It is made for setups with 4" exhaust tubing and room for a 30" muffler. It is universal, so it is not matched to a model year. Check your pipe diameter and the straight run you have, or send us your VIN and we will help.
What does T409 SS mean?
T409 SS is T409 stainless steel. It is the grade MBRP uses in its Armor Plus systems, and stainless holds up better than aluminized steel where road salt or brine is common. Aluminized steel is the dry-climate option.
Should I get the 4" or the 5" muffler?
Match the muffler to your pipe. This one is 4" in and 4" out. If your exhaust is 5" tubing, order the 5" T409 version instead. Measure your pipe before you order.
