The MAHLE G31914 Intake Tube Seal (Snout at Y-Bridge) reseals the intake tube where its snout meets the Y-bridge on the 2006-2010 6.6L Duramax LBZ and LMM in Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD-3500HD trucks. It is an OE style replacement made to factory specifications. It is sold individually, and the engine takes two.
Fitment
Fits the 6.6L Duramax LBZ (2006-2007) and LMM (2007.5-2010) in 2006-2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks. It is a direct-fit seal for the intake tube snout at the Y-bridge on those engines. The listing does not cover the earlier LB7 and LLY or the later LML and L5P. Any time the intake tube comes off the Y-bridge, the seal at the snout is what closes that joint back up. The G31914 is MAHLE's OE style replacement for it, made to factory specifications, so it fits the factory joint the way the original seal did with no modification. If you are resealing the intake tube on an LBZ or LMM, this is the piece that goes back in. Two O-rings are required per engine and MAHLE sells them one at a time, so order two and do the job in one pass.
