The FPE-HAR-MU-PT-15 is a replacement fuel sending unit connector on a 6" pigtail for 1999-2007 Ford trucks with the 7.3L or 6.0L Power Stroke. If the connector at your sending unit is damaged, this gives you a new one to splice into the truck's wiring with the included heat sealable butt-splice connectors.
Fitment
Fleece lists this pigtail for 1999-2007 Ford Power Stroke trucks: the 7.3L from 1999-2003 and the 6.0L from 2003-2007. 2003 appears under both engines, so a 2003 with either one is covered. Fleece doesn't break fitment down by cab, bed or chassis, so verify fitment by VIN or call us if you want a second look before you order.
Why this part
A pigtail repair replaces the connector and a short length of wire rather than a bigger section of harness. You remove the damaged connector, then join the new 6" pigtail to the truck's wiring using the heat sealable butt-splice connectors that come with it.
Fleece produces these pigtails in-house. The manufacturing process uses fully automated wire cutting and terminal crimping, and the goal is a quality replacement part that gets your truck back on the road quickly.
