The Fleece FPE-CUMM-CLNT-TNK-1318 is a fabricated aluminum coolant tank that takes the place of the factory plastic reservoir on 2013-2018 Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins. Owners buy it to replace a leaking factory tank with aluminum, or to clean up the engine bay and allow additional room around the turbocharger.
Fitment
This tank fits 2013-2018 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickups with the 6.7L Cummins. It is a direct replacement for the factory plastic coolant reservoir and mounts in the factory coolant tank location behind the passenger side battery. Fleece's application notes:

Why this part
The factory reservoir is plastic. When it starts leaking, you can put in another plastic tank or step up to fabricated aluminum. This tank is the aluminum route. It is powder coated in gloss black, it uses your factory cap, and it comes with a low coolant float switch, mounting hardware, hose and clamps. Fleece also designed it to clean up the engine bay and allow for additional room around the turbocharger.
Before you blame the tank, look at how the coolant is getting out. On 2013-2018 trucks, a head gasket that is starting to lift often shows up first in the cooling system: a stiff, pressurized upper hose on a cold engine, overheating that acts like an air pocket, and coolant pushed out of the degas bottle. If your old tank is wet because coolant is being pushed out rather than leaking from a crack, find that cause first. A new tank will not fix it.
Because this tank reuses the factory cap, check the cap while you are at it. The 6.7L runs a 16 psi cap, and a cap that only holds 5-6 psi cuts your boil-over margin. Have it pressure-tested when the new tank goes in.

The float switch is Fleece part FPE-FS-UNIV-2M-SS, which Fleece lists as a stainless steel universal float switch with a two-pin Metri-Pack connector.
Installation notes
The tank mounts in the factory location behind the passenger side battery, takes the factory cap, and ships with the mounting hardware, hose and hose clamps you need. When you refill, use the coolant your owner's manual calls for. Coolant interval and chemistry differ between 2007.5-2012 and 2013-2018 trucks, so check the manual before you mix anything.

Yes. The tank utilizes the factory coolant tank cap. It is worth having that cap pressure-tested during the swap, since the system is built around a 16 psi cap and a weak one lowers your boil-over margin.
Does it come with a low coolant sensor?
Yes. It includes the FPE-FS-UNIV-2M-SS low coolant float switch, along with the mounting hardware, hose and hose clamps.
Will it fit a 2019 or newer Ram?
