The Fleece Performance Engineering FPE-CRTFL-OE is a replacement turbocharger oil feed line for 1991-2018 Dodge and Ram trucks with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins. It fits a stock Holset or a Fleece Cheetah turbo in the factory location and runs -6 smooth bore Teflon hose with AN fittings. You buy it to make sure your turbo has a good oil supply line.
Fitment
This line is built for a Cheetah or stock Holset turbocharger in the factory location on 1991-2018 Cummins trucks. By engine, that covers:
- 5.9L 12-valve Cummins, 1991-1998
- 5.9L 24-valve Cummins, 1998.5-2002
- 5.9L common-rail Cummins, 2003-2007
- 6.7L Cummins, 2007.5-2012 (Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 through 2009, Ram 2500 and 3500 from 2010)
- 6.7L Cummins, 2013-2018 (Ram 2500 and 3500)

Why this part
Fleece's aim with this line is simple: make sure your turbocharger has a good oil supply line. The hose is extra flexible -6 smooth bore Teflon, wrapped in a protective high temperature sleeve. Two -6AN to M12 aluminum fittings with sealing washers are included. It replaces four different factory part numbers, so one line covers a wide spread of Cummins trucks.
On the 6.7L, the turbo is a common repair, and that is when a fresh feed line makes sense. Early 2007-2009 engines see turbo hard failures: oil seals leaking into the compressor and turbine housings, wheel damage from dust or heat, speed sensor and actuator failures, and worn bearings with shaft end play. On 2010-2018 trucks, the VGT also fails from compromised oil seals, damaged wheels, speed-sensor faults and worn bearings. Oil changes to spec are part of keeping a 6.7L VGT moving.
