The Edge Products 84130-3 Insight CTS3 is a monitor with a full-color 5" touch screen that plugs into your OBD-II port with no wiring. It works with most domestic gas and diesel vehicles 1996 and newer. You buy it to watch EGT, boost, trans temp, RPM and dozens more readings, with alerts, without programming the truck.
Fitment
The CTS3 is a universal OBD-II monitor. Edge lists it as compatible with most domestic gas and diesel vehicles 1996 and newer, and it installs at the OBD-II port with no wiring required. A few diesel functions are limited to specific trucks. Manual DPF regeneration is listed for the 2018-2020 F-150 3.0L Power Stroke, the 2011-2024 6.7L Power Stroke, the 2007.5-2024 6.6L Duramax and the 2020-2022 3.0L Duramax. Mobile DPF regeneration is listed for the 2015-2022 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel, the 2007-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins and the 2011-2023 6.6L Duramax. Why this part
The Insight is an instant, inexpensive alternative to bulky analog gauges that take hours to install. Edge built it for two kinds of owners. One wants to monitor the truck's performance and would rather not program it. The other already has significant performance upgrades and wants to monitor them safely. Either way, you can configure audible and visual alerts to help protect the truck, so the screen tells you when a reading goes where you don't want it. It also reads and clears DTC codes, logs data you can export, and on the trucks listed above it runs a DPF regeneration.

Installation notes
Plug the CTS3 into the OBD-II port. There is no wiring. Mount it with the included windshield bracket, or use one of Edge's optional display mounts. Edge cuts its A-pillar and CTS3 pillar mounts for specific Ford, GM and Ram cabs, so match the mount to your truck. Once it is set up, the monitor boots straight to the gauge screen on key cycle, and updates come over Wi-Fi.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to tune my truck to use the CTS3?
No. The Insight is a monitor. Edge built it for owners who want to watch the truck without programming it, and for owners with upgrades who want to keep an eye on them.
Can it run a DPF regeneration on my truck?
Only on the trucks Edge lists. Between them, manual and mobile regeneration cover certain years of the 3.0L and 6.7L Ford, the 6.6L and 3.0L GM, and the 3.0L and 6.7L Ram diesels, as listed under Fitment. If your truck is not on those lists, don't count on the CTS3 to start one.
Can I add readings my truck doesn't report?
Yes. The CTS3 has an integrated accessory system for additional gauges. Edge's EAS kits, like the 98620 EGT kit and the 98607 pressure sensor, add readings the OBD-II port can't supply. The same system can control switches for lighting, compressors, a winch and more.
