Fitment

Fits 2019-2025 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickups, single or dual rear wheel, with the 6.7L Cummins. Our engine tag for this mount reads 2019-current, but the part is listed through 2025, so treat 2026 and newer trucks as unconfirmed and verify fitment by VIN.

Note: Does not fit Rams equipped with Heads Up Display (HUD). Check your dash before you order. Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs share the engine family but are separate trucks with their own setup, so ask us about those. If your Ram is a 2010-2018, you want the Edge 38602 instead. Send us your VIN or call the shop and we will confirm the right mount.

Why this part

Edge made this mount to replace its standard suction-cup mount with something permanent and specific to the truck. The cast aluminum body is molded for the 2019-2025 Ram pillar, sets the monitor in a clean viewing position, and has an OEM look in the cab. It is a solid mounting point, so the screen stays where you put it.

On 2019-2024 trucks, the factory variable-geometry turbo is the part we watch. Soot and oil coking can stick its vanes. The first sign is usually a weaker exhaust brake, then low or erratic boost, high EGTs and limp mode, and the trouble commonly shows up between 50,000 and 150,000 miles. Underboost (P0299) can come from boost leaks, a clogged air filter or the actuator, and overboost (P0234) almost always means vanes stuck closed. The electronic actuator can also fail on its own and take the exhaust brake with it. A monitor at eye level that shows boost makes those changes easier to catch.

Installation notes

The 38603 needs no drilling. It mounts using the existing A-pillar grab handle location with the hardware in the box, and the monitor attaches to the dual t-slot mount. Before you start, confirm your truck does not have a Heads Up Display, because the mount will not fit a HUD-equipped Ram. The matte black finish takes paint if you want to match your interior.
