The Edge Products 28600 is a cast aluminum A-pillar mount that gives your Edge monitor a fixed, vehicle-specific home in 2015-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks with the 6.6L Duramax. You buy it to get the monitor off the suction cup and into a solid mount at the grab handle, with no drilling.

Edge lists the 28600 for 2015-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax. That spans the last two years of the LML (2015-2016) and the first three years of the L5P (2017-2019). Our engine tags on this mount reach further in both directions, but the title is narrower, so we go by 2015-2019; verify fitment by VIN. Why this part
A suction cup is a temporary answer. Edge designed the 28600 as a more permanent replacement for its standard suction cup mount: a cast aluminum bracket molded for this truck's A-pillar and engineered for an OEM look and fit. It puts the monitor in the best viewing position without blocking your view of the road.
Install is simple because the mount uses the existing A-pillar grab handle location. Nothing gets drilled. The matte black coating blends into the interior, and it is paintable if you want it to match your trim or a custom color.
A monitor you can see at a glance earns its keep on these trucks. On a 2017-2019 L5P, a boost leak at the factory plastic charge pipes, intercooler boots or T-bolt clamps can mimic a failing turbo: power loss, a whistle, a P0299 underboost code, even limp mode while towing. Watching boost live on an Edge monitor at the pillar helps you notice that kind of change while you are driving, not after.

Do I have to drill the A-pillar?
No. The 28600 mounts at the existing A-pillar grab handle location with the included hardware, so there are no new holes in your truck.
Will it hold my Edge monitor?
If it is a CTS3 device, yes: Edge built the mount for the Insight, Evolution and Juice. It also works with older CTS2 and CS2 style monitors. Edge notes it may work with other aftermarket mounts that use a similar uni-ball construction.
Will the 28600 fit a 2020 or newer Silverado 2500HD?
Not per Edge's listing. The 28600 is for 2015-2019 trucks. For a 2020-2023 6.6L Duramax, the matching mount is the Edge 28601. Check your model year by VIN before you order either one.
