This Cummins 3932272 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor is a direct-fit replacement for the bad sensor in your ‘98 12-valve. This particular sensor was a 1-year model-only sensor with a different shape and thread pattern than the 1991.5-1997 years. Be sure to check your truck to ensure it is a 1998 model year with a "D" in the 8th number of the VIN when ordering this sensor.
