The Big Hitch Products BHP4001 is a flip-up license plate bracket for trucks running a behind-roll-pan receiver hitch. When you are ready to use the receiver, you flip the plate up out of the way. No more getting a screwdriver out to take the plate off every time you hook up a trailer.
Fitment
No year, make or model is named for the BHP4001. It is made for trucks with a behind-roll-pan receiver. Big Hitch Products builds those hidden hitches in 2" and 2.5" for Duramax, Cummins and Power Stroke trucks running a roll pan. The bracket measures 8 3/16" x 5 7/8". Why this part
A roll pan cleans up the back of a truck, but bolting one on usually means losing the factory receiver. A behind-roll-pan hitch puts the tow point back, hidden behind the pan. That leaves the license plate. When you are ready to use that hidden receiver, the plate is in the way. Without a flip-up bracket, you are pulling the plate off with a screwdriver every time you tow. The BHP4001 lets you simply flip the plate up out of the way, then put it back down when you are done.

Installation notes
Big Hitch Products says the bracket is easy to install with basic hand tools. Before you tighten everything down, check that the plate swings up clear of the receiver opening and sits where you want it when it is down. If you would rather have it done, we install what we sell at our Wildwood, Florida shop.
