The BHP10032 is a 2.5-inch Class 4+ receiver hitch that bolts in behind the roll pan on 2003-2018 Dodge Ram and Ram 2500/3500 trucks with the 5.9L or 6.7L Cummins. It gives you a tow point back with the roll pan installed, and the hitch stays hidden, with access through the license plate hole.
Fitment
Fits 2003-2018 Dodge Ram and Ram 2500/3500 short bed and long bed trucks with the Cummins: the 5.9L common-rail (2003-2007), the 6.7L (2007.5-2012) and the 6.7L (2013-2018). It is for 2500/3500 trucks only, and it is built for a truck with a roll pan installed. Chassis cabs use a different frame, so call us before ordering for one. Verify fitment by VIN or call the shop and we will confirm it.

It also moves the towing point forward almost 8 inches. BHP says that gives better weight distribution and an advantage when truck pulling, so it suits a dedicated pulling truck or a daily driver. The hitch is SAE J684-05 certified as a Class 4+ receiver, rated at 20,000 lbs weight carrying capacity and 2,000 lbs max tongue weight. Installation notes
- Complete bolt in design. No cutting or welding required. The spare tire must be removed.
- Some trucks may require the factory frame holes to be reamed out a little bit to allow for the larger hardware to be installed.
- Box will need to be either pulled off completely or simply tilted up in the back to get factory hitch out.
The bed step is the biggest job here: the factory hitch does not come out until the box is pulled off or tilted up at the back. If you would rather not do that in the driveway, our shop installs what we sell.

It is made for a truck with a roll pan installed. The hitch sits completely hidden behind the pan, and you reach the receiver through the license plate hole. If you are keeping the factory bumper, BHP makes Stock Bumper receiver hitches instead.
Will I have to cut or weld anything?
No. It is a complete bolt-in design with all necessary hardware included. Expect to remove the spare tire, possibly ream the factory frame holes a little for the larger hardware, and pull or tilt up the box to get the factory hitch out.
