General Description
The BD Diesel Allison Transmission & Converter Package For LLY for your 2004.5-2005 Chevy 6.6 LLY Duramax for an instant upgrade over your stock transmission. Factory transmissions are prone to failing when trying to handle increased torque levels. BD-Power Transmission & Converter Packages have a BD rigid aluminum heavy duty transmission pan which adds oil capacity and diminishes case flex, a double lock-up converter with X-Stator technology, and a BD auxiliary full flow filter kit for improved defense.
The BD Diesel Transmission & Converter Package includes a heavy-duty clutch with up to 25% more material than stock and a new design valve body that maintains up to 80% higher clutch apply pressures over the stock unit.
A new BD-Power Torque Converter must be installed at the time of installation of a BD-Power Transmission. Use of a 3rd party or OE Torque Converter will void transmission warranty.
