Replace the tired 5110W transmission in your 2008-2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke with the BD-Power 5R110W Exchange Transmission. The smooth shifting characteristics of your factory transmission creates heat and increases wear that shortens transmission life. In addition, your factory transmission was only designed to handle the output of the stock power levels. In this remanufactured and upgraded 5R110 Transmission, BD Diesel incorporates revised oil circuits, adds extra clutches along with stronger internals. Instead of using thrust washers like the factory transmissions, BD Diesel installs roller bearings throughout the transmission to eliminate oil contamination, maintain tolerances, and reduce heat and solenoid failure. A new BD Diesel Torque Converter must be installed at the time of installation of a BD-Power Transmission. Use of a 3rd party or 0E Torque Converter will void transmission warranty.
