General Description
The BD Diesel 1050226 Auxiliary Lift Pump for your 1998.5-2007 Dodge 5.9L Diesel is designed to help support your existing fuel pump. Perfect for applications where extra fuel is needed for stock to moderate applications. This pump installs inline and assists your factory pump.
SDS TIP:
This pump is designed to work with your existing lift/transfer pump on the motor. This pump reads pressure though a pressure switch that comes with the kit, and is designed to turn on when it reaches a certain pressure. This pump is good if you have a good lift/transfer pump already and your just looking for a little added security. If your lift/transfer pump on your truck is bad now you should look into the DEM bypass kit.
