BDS is a game changer in performance of your 2020-2026 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD truck with a 6.5-inch suspension lift kit with FOX 2.5 Coil-Over conversion. Designed to improve stance, performance, and capability, this kit includes everything necessary to set your truck up right with clearance for up to 38 Inch Tires.

These kits feature proprietary FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks designed specifically to bolt-on performance for increased travel and the ability to soak up the roughest terrain along with smooth on-road comfort.

In addition to replacing the factory torsion bars, the upper and lower control arms are upgraded to improve strength, travel, and accommodate the new coilovers. The new upper control arms are fabricated from large 1.5 Inch OD x .120-wall tubing, fully TIG welded for the highest quality, strength and durability.

To compliment the uppers, the new lower control arms are built from high strength steel, fully boxed with internally gusseted.

This kit takes advantage of BDS's tried and true high-clearance design for improved ground clearance, strength, and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for great on-road handling characteristics.

Up front, the kit utilizes FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks, heavy duty tubular upper control arms, fully boxed and gusseted lower control arms, high-arched 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers, and a multipiece differential relocation brackets and heavy duty skid plates built for offroad protection. Steering geometry is corrected at the new taller ride height with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles.

These combined with the provided sway bar links, bump stop extensions, stainless steel brake lines, CV spacers, supplied hardware and more provide a comprehensive front suspension lift ready for whatever you throw at it.

In the rear BDS offers replacement lift blocks to lift and level that stance. The lift block installs in place of the stock block and retains ride quality and load capacity. Also for the rear is a u-bolt flip kit for max clearance and precision tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series shocks for ultimate off road performance.

FOX Performance Elite

FOX 2.5 Performance Elite shocks offer next level performance for on-road comfort and off-road comfort capability. Tuned and ready to install right out of the box, these bolt-on 2.5-inch diameter shocks are built for abuse and packed with race-proven technology. They include a remote reservoir for additional fluid capacity to keep your shocks running cool so you can push the limits in the rough terrain.

The Dual Speed Compression Adjust adjuster adds remarkable versatility and precise tuning with a simple twist of either two adjuster knobs, offering 10 separate low-speed and 12 high-speed compression levels, with a black anodized aluminum reservoir to increase cooling efficiency.

HD Control Arms

Built for strength, performance and increased travel, these control arms are ready to bolt-in. The upper arms use 1.5 Inch OD x .120-wall tubular construction with an indexed ball joint cup to correct the ball joint positioning allowing additional down travel and camber adjustment.

The new lower control arms are built from high strength steel, fully boxed with internally gusseted. At the frame mounting ends are durometer-specific rubber bushings for maintenance-free operation while at the other end a quality greaseable ball joints for smooth, quiet operation and superior durability.

Arms are finished in a durable black powder coat with a billet aluminum dust cap ready for installation right out of the box.

1. Models with two-piece rear drive shafts will require a carrier bearing drop kit. (BDS121612)
2. Requires frame bracket modification.
3. Disassembly/assembly of the factory torsion bar system requires the use of a special unloading tool. The GM specified tool # is CH48809.
4. Compatible with diesel models ONLY. Works with standard or AT4 diesel models.
5. Some minor trim will be required with certain wheel/Tire combination. This is normal with most aftermarket Tire/wheel fitment on Chevy/GM trucks. Trimming will normally include the bottom edge of the inner fender shrouds and/or lower corner of front bumper valance. As a rule of thumb, deeper backspacing and shorter/narrower Tires will reduce/eliminate trimming required. Further trimming tips are included at the end of this instruction sheet.
6. Factory 17-18 Inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie rod end interference, stock 20 Inch wheels can be reinstalled with up to a 37x12.50 Tire.
7. In some cases vehicles used in 4WD on the highway regularly could potentially experience a minor front driveline vibration. If this occurs we recommend replacing the front driveshaft with a dual Cardan style driveshaft.
8. Coilover coil has a large amount of preload, a coil spring compressor must be used to remove the coil from the coilover. Failure to use a coil spring compressor may result in death or injury.
9. Do not increase coilover preload.
10. For DRW models, use the w/ overload rear lift option.
11. Will NOT work with AT4X or ZR2 models, lower control arm profile is different
