Description
This charger is the perfect fit for those of you with future plans for a twin kit. Take your time and put the build together in stages. Start by upgrading the factory charger with an easy drop-in and build off it down the road. In a compound or twin kit, we have many customers making 950-1,000 HP! Of course, those builds include a more extensive list of supporting modifications. Still, it is nice to know there is a proven formula to follow.
On the other hand, if you want street-able power out of a single turbo, we have tested that too. When really pushed, this turbo is capable of over 800 RWHP! Calibrated Power tested 100% over Exergy Injectors with a 12mm Exergy Cp3 pump on a 2006 Cummins while sporting the 3rd Gen Stealth 67. The truck made over 800 RWHP and took over (6) 1st Place Wins in the local Stock Appearing sled pull class.

Do You Need A New Electronic Waste Gate Actuator Solenoid?
Before you purchase a new turbo it's important to make sure your electronic wastegate actuator solenoid is in proper working condition. Here is how to test your stock electronic wastegate actuator solenoid along with a few signs that your solenoid may need replacing.
He351cw Electronic Waste Gate Actuator Solenoid Test:
- Unplug the electrical connection from the wastegate actuator solenoid.
- Apply a 12v charge to one of the prongs protruding from the waste gate actuator solenoid connector and apply a ground to the other. (You should hear a click when voltage is applied)
- If you have a boost gauge in the truck you can also reference it to make sure you are reaching proper boost levels. (30psi Max)
Signs that you need a new Electronic waste gate actuator solenoid:
- Your actuator solenoid does not click when voltage is applied
- You are failing to reach or exceeding 30psi of boost pressure under sustained load
- Your actuator solenoid is stuck in your HE351cw compressor cover
- Your wires are starting to crack or are exposed
- You just want peace of mind that everything is working correctly
