Call or Text (352) 722-5295Transmission filters on the 2019-2024 RAM 6.7L Cummins
Every Ram 2500 and standard-output 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins uses the 68RFE six-speed. It runs dual filters: the sump filter in the pan (Mopar 5013470AE) and an external spin-on (Mopar 5015267AD). Fluid is ATF+4, and the service interval is 120,000 miles under normal use or 60,000 under severe use. The Aisin AS69RC behind the high-output 3500 has its own sump filter, Mopar 68224232AA, and runs ASRC fluid on a 30,000-mile or 24-month interval.
What we carry
- PPE 228052186 68RFE pan filter.
- PPE 228052150 high-efficiency spin-on transmission fluid filter, listed for trucks with a PPE deep pan.

- BD Diesel 1030374 68RFE threaded filter adapter.
Fitment notes
These filters are listed for 2007.5-2024 Cummins applications, so they cover earlier 68RFE trucks too. Pans matter: the PPE spin-on is designed around PPE's deep pan, so check before you pair it with a stock pan or another brand's pan. If your build sheet shows sales code DF2, you have the Aisin, and these 68RFE filters are not the right parts.
Frequently asked questions
How many filters does the 68RFE have?
Two. There is a sump filter inside the pan, Mopar 5013470AE, and an external spin-on filter, Mopar 5015267AD. The factory fluid service interval is 120,000 miles under normal use or 60,000 under severe use.
Will these filters fit my high-output 3500?
Not as listed. High-output 3500 pickups use the Aisin AS69RC, which takes sump filter 68224232AA and ASRC fluid. Look for sales code DF2 on your build sheet; if it is there, you have the Aisin and should shop Aisin-specific parts.
