2019-2024 Ram 6.7L Cummins Leveling Kits

Leveling kits for the 2019-2024 Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins, from Bilstein, BDS Suspension and Daystar. A 2 to 2.5-inch front level is the most common change owners make to a 2500. The catch: these kits are sold by engine and by model, so buy the one listed for a Cummins truck and for your 2500 or 3500.

Leveling the 2019-2024 RAM 6.7L Cummins

A leveling kit raises the front of the truck so it sits closer to even with the rear. On this generation the front axle rides on progressive-rate coil springs and is located by two radius arms and a track bar. The Cummins puts more weight on the nose than the Hemi, so Ram fitted diesel trucks with different front springs, and a leveling kit has to be built around that. That is why the kits here name the 6.7L Cummins. Most owners stay in the 2 to 2.5-inch range, which clears 33 to 35-inch tires and stays below the 3-inch mark where caster correction and a track bar fix become part of the job.

How to choose

Start with your model. The 2500 has a coil rear and the 3500 has leaf springs, and most kits are listed for one or the other. Next, check for factory rear air. On an air-ride 2500, coil lifts and coil spacers are out, and you need a kit built for rear air ride. Then think about where the truck is headed. If you plan to lift 3 inches or more later, caster and the track bar come into play, and past 4 inches the radius arms and brake lines do too, so it can make sense to skip the level and buy the lift once.

What we carry

From Bilstein: B12 front coil springs with 2 inches of lift, a B8 5112 series 2-inch leveling kit for the 2500, a B8 5112 series kit for the 3500 and a B8 5162 series 2.3-inch kit for the 2500. From BDS Suspension: 2-inch leveling kits for the 2500, the 3500 and the 2500 with rear air ride. From Daystar: the KC09135BK 2-inch Comfort Ride front leveling kit.

Fitment notes

Most kits here are listed for 4WD trucks, so check the drivetrain on each listing. Many also cover years outside 2019-2024. The front suspension design carries into 2025, but newer bumper sensors and camera brackets can change kit listings, so confirm the year range for your truck. The 2023-2024 Rebel is built on Power Wagon structure and needs kits listed for it. When in doubt, verify by VIN.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 2-inch level clear 35-inch tires?

A 2 to 2.5-inch front level is the usual setup for 33 to 35-inch tires on a 2500. Your exact wheel and tire combination still decides the final fit, so call us with the sizes before you buy tires.

Why is the kit listed for the Cummins and not just the Ram 2500?

The diesel puts more weight on the front axle than the Hemi, and Ram used different front springs on Cummins trucks. A kit sized for the gas truck may not give you the height it promises on a diesel. Buy the kit that names the 6.7L Cummins.

Can I use a 2500 leveling kit on my 3500?

Buy by model. The 2500 and 3500 use different rear suspensions and take different leveling parts, and most kits here are listed for one truck or the other, like the separate BDS 2-inch kits for each. Read the title for 2500 or 3500 before you order.

My 2500 has factory rear air. Which leveling kit fits?

Look for a kit built for rear air ride, such as the BDS 2-inch leveling kit for the 2500 with rear air ride. Air-ride trucks cannot use coil lifts or coil spacers, so a standard kit is the wrong choice.
