Under the valve cover of the 2019 Cummins sits a redesigned top end: new exhaust valves, stiffer valve springs, non-adjustable rocker arms and the first hydraulic roller lifters ever used on a Cummins. Because the lifters take up lash on their own, the old 150,000-mile valve-lash service is gone. The cover seals with a gasket that, on the genuine Cummins 5367847, comes with its wiring harness, and the rocker box uses its own gasket. Crankcase ventilation runs through a CCV filter with a 75,000-mile or 60-month interval on 2019 and newer trucks.
What brings the cover off
On this engine the valve cover is the door to the generation's biggest weak spot. The hydraulic roller lifters can fail, and the warning is a cold-start tick that does not fade. Lifter, cam and head work all start with the cover off, which is why the MAHLE head gasket set and head set sit in this collection alongside the cover gaskets. Head gaskets fail more often on the 6.7L than on the 5.9L because of cylinder pressure, so a head job is another reason to be in here. The gaskets and grommets on this page let you reseal the cover with new parts when the work is done.
Stock replacement vs. billet
The stock path is a genuine Cummins valve cover gasket with harness, the Cummins rocker box gasket and MAHLE valve cover grommets. That reseals the factory cover the way it left the plant. Billet is the other path. WCFab and G&R Diesel both offer billet aluminum valve covers, and PPE makes a billet CCV filter cover. The XDP HD billet oil fill cap rounds out the look. A billet cover is a choice you make for your build and your eye; the factory cover does the job when it is sealed right.

Fitment notes
The MAHLE GS33798 grommets are listed for 2007.5-2022, so 2023-2024 owners should confirm fit. The WCFab cover is listed for 2006-2024 and the G&R cover for 2007.5-2024. If you are crossing a CCV filter part number from an older truck, make sure it lists 2019 and up, since numbers published for 2007.5-2018 do not automatically carry over. On the EvilFab manifold, remember the 2019 engine uses a revised manifold with elongated bolt holes that puts the turbo between cylinders 4 and 5, so confirm the listing covers that layout. Parts for 2019-2024 should not be assumed to fit a 2025. Verify by VIN or use the fitment checker.

Every 75,000 miles or 60 months on 2019 and newer trucks. The genuine Cummins 3999820 CCV filter gasket is in this collection, and the PPE billet CCV filter cover is an option if you want to replace the factory cover.
Do I need to adjust the valves on my 2019-2024 6.7L Cummins?
Not on a stock engine. The hydraulic roller lifters and non-adjustable rockers took the valve-lash check off the maintenance schedule. Engines converted to an aftermarket lifter setup with adjustable rockers are a different story, so follow the conversion maker's instructions.
Will a billet valve cover fit my truck?
The WCFab WCF100366 is listed for 2006-2024 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins and the G&R GRD67CM3004 for 2007.5-2024 6.7L, so both list your years. Use the fitment checker on the product page, and check what sealing parts the cover includes before you order gaskets.
