Two transmission-area parts on 2018 trucks were replaced under recall: the park-lock rod under 18V280 and the BTSI solenoid under 18V100. Those are dealer repairs, so check your VIN for open campaigns before chasing a PARK complaint. On fitment, pans and filters may cross between the 8HP70 and 8HP75, but internal hard parts and torque converters do not. Verify by transmission tag when the truck's history is unclear.

PPE lists the 228058600 filter for EcoDiesel trucks running the PPE pan, so plan on the pan and filter as a pair. If you are keeping the factory pan, check each gasket listing to confirm it matches that pan. Call the shop with your VIN if you are not sure which pan is on the truck.
Which parts were replaced under the 2018 transmission recalls?
The park-lock rod under recall 18V280 and the brake-transmission shift interlock solenoid under 18V100. The first defect could keep the truck from engaging PARK, and the second could let the shifter leave PARK without the brake applied. A Ram dealer performs that work.
Will a transmission pan from a 2018 EcoDiesel fit a 2021?
