The EcoDiesel Ram 1500 runs a short/long-arm independent front and a coil-sprung rear axle located by links. Up front, a coil-over combines the shock and spring in one assembly. In back, the shock works alongside the coil spring. Our research found no EcoDiesel-specific shock failure pattern on these trucks, so shocks usually get changed for ride quality, as part of a build, or because the originals have worn.
What we carry
This collection carries Radflo: the 2.5-inch front coil-over kit and the 2.5-inch rear shock, both for 2014-2018 EcoDiesel trucks. If you want new shocks on a DT, look at the BDS Suspension lift and leveling kits offered with FOX coil-overs.
Fitment notes
The DS (2018 Ram 1500, 2019 Ram 1500 Classic) and DT (2020-2023) suspensions are different designs, and shocks do not cross between them. Radflo lists these for 2014-2018, so a 2019 Classic owner should confirm by VIN. The rear shock is listed for 4WD; check the front kit's product page for drivetrain. If your truck has factory four-corner air suspension, confirm fitment against your suspension type before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Will these Radflo shocks fit my 2021 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel?
Not as listed. A 2021 is a DT, and these are listed for the 2014-2018 DS body; the two suspensions are different designs. For a DT, the BDS kits with FOX coil-overs are the place to start.
Can I install the Radflo front coil-over kit myself?
If you are comfortable working on front suspension, yes, but the truck will need an alignment afterward. If you would rather not, we install everything we sell at our shop in Wildwood, FL.
