On a coil-spring Ram 1500, the rear axle is located by links and carried on coil springs; the DT body uses a five-link layout. Helper air springs mount at the rear axle and give you adjustable support on top of the factory springs. Add air for a trailer or a loaded bed and let it out when the truck is empty. The DS and DT also offered factory four-corner air suspension with its own ride-height control, and those trucks take different hardware.

- Mounting: a universal air spring cradle, straight spacers in 2, 4 and 6 inches, and angled spacers in 4 and 6 inches.
Fitment notes
DS (2018 Ram 1500, 2019 Ram 1500 Classic) and DT (2020-2023) suspensions are different designs, so match the kit to your body. If your truck has factory air suspension, confirm fitment by VIN before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a compressor with Air Lift helper springs?
No, but it makes them easier to live with. Without one you fill the bags from an air hose the way you would a tire. A WirelessONE or WirelessAIR system lets you adjust pressure from the cab, which helps if you hitch and unhitch often.
Single or dual load controller: which one?
A single controller runs both bags at the same pressure. A dual controller lets you set each side on its own, which helps when a load sits heavier on one side. Pick the one that matches how you load the truck.
What are the air spring spacers for?
They fill the gap when the space between axle and frame is different from what the bag kit expects, such as on a leveled or lifted truck. Angled spacers suit mounts that are not square. Call us with your ride height and we will help you pick one.
