The rear of a fourth-gen Ram HD is not one design. The 2010-2013 2500 and every 3500 ride on leaf springs, and the 2014-2018 2500 uses a five-link coil rear. Factory rear air was available on the 2014-2018 2500 and on the 3500. Rear parts for those setups do not cross, so helper spring kits are built for specific trucks and years.
What we carry
Air Lift LoadLifter 5000, LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate and LoadLifter 7500XL helper spring kits, the 80532 1000 adjustable load support, and LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus stainless steel upgrades. For inflation and control there are WirelessONE and WirelessAIR compressor systems and tank kits, EZ Mount versions, the Single Load Controller II, the Heavy Duty Dual Load Controller, a replacement on-board compressor and air hose. Mounting hardware includes 2-, 4- and 6-inch air spring spacers, angled spacers and a universal air spring cradle.
Fitment notes
Read the year range on every kit: 88289 and 57289 list 2014-2024 Cummins trucks, 88255 lists 2007.5-2024, and 57589 and 80532 list 2014-2023. Then confirm 2500 vs 3500 and rear suspension type on the product page. If your truck already has factory rear air, check before you buy, because factory air rules out some aftermarket parts. Verify by VIN when in doubt.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a compressor with a LoadLifter kit?
Compressors are separate listings, so check what each helper spring kit includes. If you want on-board air, the WirelessONE and WirelessAIR systems add a compressor with wireless control, and the 73000EZ is an app-only control system.
What are the air spring spacers and cradle for?
They are mounting hardware. Air Lift offers 2-, 4- and 6-inch spacers, angled 4- and 6-inch spacers and a universal cradle so the air spring can be set up to suit the truck. Check the instructions for your kit to see which, if any, your truck needs.
