Behind the 6.7L Cummins, the rear suspension is leaf springs with overload leaves. Air Lift helper springs work alongside that leaf pack, and the common reason to add them on this truck is heavy towing. Rear suspension fits by chassis, not engine, and the 2500, 3500 and dually spring packs differ.
Picking the parts
Start with a helper spring kit. Air Lift lists LoadLifter 5000 kits (57295, 57297, 88339), LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate kits (88255, 88295, 88297) and a LoadLifter 7500XL kit (57595). The 52300 and 52301 are stainless steel upgrades for LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus kits. To adjust pressure from the cab or a phone app, add a compressor system: WirelessONE (25980 or 25980EZ) with the 25981EZ tank, or WirelessAIR (74000EZ) with the 74100EZ tank and the app-only 73000EZ control system. The Single Load Controller II and the Heavy Duty Dual Load Controller are the other control options, and the 16192 is a replacement on-board compressor. Air spring spacers in 2, 4 and 6 inch heights, angled 4 and 6 inch spacers and the 52500 universal air spring cradle help with mounting height and angle.
Fitment notes
Match the kit to your truck, not just the engine. The 2500, 3500 and dually rear spring packs differ, and Thuren Fabrication recommends measuring each truck because trim and options change the weight. The 88255 is listed for 2007.5-2024 Cummins trucks; check the fitment checker for the rest. For tow and payload limits, go by your door-jamb sticker and owner's manual. When in doubt, verify by VIN.

Do I need a compressor with LoadLifter helper springs?
The compressor systems are sold separately from the helper spring kits. If you want to adjust pressure from the cab or a phone app, add a WirelessONE or WirelessAIR system with its tank. The load controllers are another way to manage pressure.

When do I need air spring spacers?
Spacers are for installs where the air spring needs more mounting height or angle correction than the kit provides, for example a truck at a changed ride height. The straight spacers come in 2, 4 and 6 inch heights and the angled ones in 4 and 6 inch. Check the kit's install notes or call the shop before you order.
