Call or Text (352) 722-5295Traction bars on the 2020-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
The rear of the 2020-2022 Super Duty pickup rides on leaf springs, and 4WD trucks sit on a factory 3-inch rear block. A traction bar adds a second link between the rear axle and the frame, so the leaf springs aren't the only thing locating the axle when the truck puts torque to the ground. Rear lift and leveling parts for the 4WD trucks are sold against that factory 3-inch block, so if your truck's rear has already been modified, check fitment closely.
Know your rear axle
The F-250 comes standard with the Sterling 10.5, which uses a 12-bolt cover. The Dana M275 has a 10.8-inch ring gear and a 14-bolt cover, and goes under the F-350 single-rear-wheel truck and F-250s built with the heavy-duty tow package or the Tremor package. The Dana M300 has an 11.8-inch ring gear and goes under the F-350 dually and the F-450. A 12-bolt cover points to the Sterling, a 14-bolt cover to the M275.

Fitment notes
The BDS Recoil kit and its mounting kit are listed for 4WD trucks only. If your F-250 has the standard Sterling 10.5, the axle-specific WCFab brackets here aren't labeled for it, so call before you order. Pick bar length by the listed fitment for your truck, and confirm with the fitment checker on the product page or by VIN.
Frequently asked questions
Which WCFab bracket kit fits my truck?
Match it to your rear axle. The WCF100407 is for the 4-inch Dana M275, found on F-350 single-rear-wheel trucks and F-250s with the heavy-duty tow package or Tremor. The WCF100501 is for the 4.5-inch Dana M300 under F-350 duallys and the F-450. A 14-bolt cover with a 10.8-inch ring gear means M275.
Will the BDS Recoil traction bar kit fit my 2WD F-250?
BDS lists the Recoil kit and its mounting kit for 4WD trucks only. On a 2WD truck, check the WCFab listings for your axle and drivetrain, or call the shop and we'll help you find a fit.
Should I get the 60-inch or 68-inch kit?
Go by the fitment listed on each kit. The 60-inch WCF100388 is listed for 2017-2024 trucks and the 68-inch WCF100399 for 2011-2024. If both come up for your truck, call with your cab, bed and axle and we'll sort out which one to order.
