Call or Text (352) 722-5295Shocks on the 2020-2022 Ford 6.7L Powerstroke
A 4x4 Super Duty mounts its front shocks to a coil-sprung solid axle located by radius arms and a track bar. A 2WD truck uses Ford's Twin I-Beam independent front. Both ride on leaf springs in the rear, with a factory 3-inch block on 4x4 trucks. That's why the shocks here come in separate front and rear, 2WD and 4WD listings, with their own rear listings for the F-450 and the F-550 chassis cab.
The Tremor is its own fitment. It uses progressive-rate springs and custom 1.7-inch-piston twin-tube dampers that are unique to the package, and it sits 2 inches higher in front from the factory.
Choosing a series
Bilstein's B6 4600, B8 5100 and B8 5160 Series are all here. The B6 4600 Series covers both 2WD and 4WD trucks, including rear shocks for the F-450 and F-550. The B8 5100 Series and B8 5160 Series listings here are 4WD parts. Some positions have more than one part number, so match the full Bilstein part number to the fitment on the product page instead of going by the series name alone.
Ride height matters as much as series. If your truck is stock height, pick the listing that matches your exact model and drivetrain. If it's leveled or lifted, the shock has to suit the new height, and some leveling kits for these trucks even ship with shock extensions to make up the difference. Tell us the kit and height and we'll match the shock.
What we carry
Bilstein B6 4600, B8 5100 and B8 5160 Series shock absorbers for the 6.7L Powerstroke Super Duty, front and rear, for 2WD and 4WD trucks, with dedicated rear listings for the F-450 and F-550.
Fitment notes
Check four things: front or rear, 2WD or 4WD, model (F-250/F-350, F-450 or F-550 chassis cab) and ride height. The 2WD B6 4600 listings are titled 2017-2022, while many 4WD listings run 2017-2026, so read the years. If the truck has a lift or leveling kit, the stock-height part may not be the right one. Verify by VIN when in doubt.
Frequently asked questions
Which Bilstein series fits a 2WD F-250?
In this collection, the 2WD listings are B6 4600 Series shocks, front and rear, for 2017-2022 trucks. The B8 5100 and B8 5160 listings here are 4WD parts. The 2WD and 4WD front ends are completely different designs, so don't cross them.
Can I use these on a Tremor?
Check first. The Tremor's 1.7-inch-piston twin-tube dampers and progressive-rate springs are unique to the package, and the truck sits 2 inches higher in front from the factory. Call with your VIN and we'll match a shock to the Tremor's ride height.
Do I need different shocks after leveling?
Often. Leveling raises the front, and some leveling kits for these trucks include shock extensions to make up the difference. Tell us which kit and how much lift, and we'll pick the right part number.
